What's in the box?

Can I simply use regular tap water?

No. Regular tap water cannot guarantee purity and safety. The presence of potential minerals, bacterias etc. may also damage the machine's internal components which again, may cause safety issues.

Can I drip/mix my own essential oils into the machine ?

No. Our aroma therapy scentpads were designed to work with the device without any potential issues. Other methods risk damaging the machine.

Why is there sound after the device is turned off?

That is completely normal and there is nothing to worry about. The device is simply self-cleaning and drying out any remaining liquids after every usage. It will stop after a few minutes.

How long is each steam session?

It is estimated at around 30 minutes each session. As Mypurmist2 is corded, generally, you can run it continuously as long as you have sufficient liquid.
